If you were doubting the place of Women’s MMA in the UFC, Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche just shut you up. The one round between the two first women fighters in the UFC was action packed filled with twist (literally) and turns throughout the short 5 minutes. In the end, Ronda did what she was able to do for her last 6 fights. She took Liz’s arm and made her tap.

Ronda Rousey was able to retain the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship belt and left fans wanting more. If you’re not excited for Rousey’s next fight, I don’t know what will. She has literally made arm bars as exciting as first round knockouts. Women’s MMA is here to stay, thanks to both Ronda and Liz!
